This is a picture of the Looff Carousel in Riverside, Rhode Island.
This carousel's is one of the oldest in the country. All the horses inside are hand carved and painted, along with a lot of other things in the carousel. It has beautiful stained glass windows, and a loud "music box" for lack of better words. The music is oddly haunting, and you never really hear the same song twice. The park I was in when I took this picture is the Rose Larissa Park. If I were to have turned straight around, I'd have been greeted by a gorgeous view of the Providence River and Warwick across the other side of the river. |
